Writing

Writer's Workshop in kindergarten is a very special time!  It is a time when students start the year writing letter strings to writing full stories by the end.

-You can work with your child at home by having them write stories about family vacations, sports they play, exciting events in their lives, etc.  The more they write the faster they will grow!

Math

Kindergarten math is lots of fun!  One thing you will hear your child say is, "we got to play games in math today!"  If you hear your child say this, they are right.  Many times in math your child will be able to practice what they have learned through playing games with partners.  Keep an eye out for more math updates as we move through the year!
